Race report FIM Europe Supermono Cup round 2

Last weekend 37 participants take part in the second round of FIM Europe Supermono Cup at the Battle of the Lowlands on the circuit of Zolder (B). This round was a cooperation with the KTM Duke Battle. This weekend the riders were exposed to all weather conditions and it was therefore a very exciting weekend.

The results from these combined class are as follows:

Race 1 1. Arie Vos on his KTM Duke 690, 2. Lukas Wimmer on a HKR EVO2 R en Jerry van de Bunt 3 on the Happeck Rotax 449. This race was held during lots of rain and therefore had a large number of drop-outs. Unfortunately Mike Velthuijzen, the triple Supermono Champion, had a technical problem so he could not start.

Race 2 Jerry van de Bunt 1, Ezequiel Iturrioz 2 en Arie Vos 3. Although this race took place in dry weather and occasionally with a firm sunshine, this race was full of incidents and had to be stopped in the 8th round after a highsider from # 5 Johann Karl.
